Eugene D. Stevens, 91, of Oregon, passed away on February 13, 2017 at Orchard Villa. Eugene was born in Adrian, Michigan on February 15, 1925 to Lyle and Lucille (Sharp) Stevens. He served his country in the United States Army during WWII. He went on to work as a self employed barber for many years. Eugene enjoyed dancing, was an avid golfer, past member of the American Legion, VFW and Moose Lodge. Eugene is survived by his stepchildren; Eric Cole, Todd Cole, Leslie (Chris) Crowe and Lori Daly; 4 step-grandchildren and 1 step great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Betty. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 7:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in Eugene's name may be directed to Ohio Living Hospice.
