Eunice Jacobs, 87, formerly of Genoa, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2004, at Alter Care Nursing Home in Big Rapids, MI. She was born in Haileyville, Alabama, on July 21, 1917, to Asa and Leila (Newman) Hyde. Surviving are her sons, Wayne (Marilyn), Earl, Winfred and John (Sharon) Jacobs; daughters, Madge Long and Virginia (Lee) Reynolds; brothers, John, Lemuel and Asa Hyde; sisters, Ruth Hyde and Lois Fredrick; 25 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Woodville Road Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury, OH on Saturday from 12 noon-9 p.m. where funeral services will be conducted on Sunday at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
