Eusebio "Joe" Lopez, 84, of Toledo, Ohio passed away October 8, 2008, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born in Laredo, Texas on August 14, 1924, to Miguel and Filomena (Cardenas) Lopez. Joe was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving during World War II, and retired from General Motors in 1990 after 21 years. He was a member of St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife, Eufracia "Effie"; stepson, Jose T. (Linda) Ramos Jr.; stepdaughter, Irma (Manuel) Hernandez; brothers, Thomas and Raymond Lopez; nephew, Tom (Colleen) Lopez; 17 step grandchildren and 27 great step grandchildren; best friend, Alice Meier. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister and 1 brother. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S.
