Eva A. Balow, 85, of Toledo passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2004 in the Lutheran Home at Toledo. Eva was born in December 24, 1918 to Frank and Eva (Pastuka) Jakubec. She was the widow of Marvin Balow. Eva had been employed for the Chrysler Corporation for 10 years, retiring in 1962. She was a member of Good Shepherd Church. Surviving are her brother, John Jakubec; sister, Mary Boulis and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Anna Romp, Frances Schnabel and Margaret Carstensen. Friends may call from 2 to 9pm Friday in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, where funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 pm.
