Evelyn L. Cowell, 93, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on August 28, 2013 at Orchard Villa. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to Terrell and Bessie (Compton) Arnold on December 7, 1919. She graduated from Waite High School in 1937. Evelyn'™s greatest joy was her family and being able to spend time with them. She was a member of Unity Methodist Church and the Arthur Dailey Post #334. Evelyn is survived by her children, Arnie (Barbara) Cowell, Norma Langlois, Darlene (Fred) Foor, David (Brenda) Cowell, Donald (Marie) Cowell, Thomas (Christine) Cowell, Darrell (MaryJo) Cowell, Shelley (Mike) Pawlowicz, Robert (Sherry) Cowell; 53 grandchildren; 78 great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard; son, Howard Jr.; and son-in-law, Ed Langlois. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Friday, August 30, 2013 from 2-9 p.m. and on Saturday, August 31, 2013 from 9:00 until funeral services at 10:00 a.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home, with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.
