Evelyn T. Ervin, 83, of Millbury, Ohio passed away December 6, 2010 at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on April 14, 1927 to Edward and Jane Hohenstein. In her earlier years, Evelyn had been employed as a laborer at Autolite. She was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, and loved playing scratch off lottery tickets. Surviving are her daughter, Kathy (Gene Purtell) Pierce; grandchildren, Joe (Amie) Pierce and Linda (Tod) Crabtree; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Richard Hohenstein, and special friend, Larry Pierce. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Ralph. Funeral services will be private. Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, is assisting the family with arrangements.
