Evelyn Deloris Moore, 81, of Oregon, Ohio, went to be with the Lord Friday, May 3, 2013. Evelyn was born in Alger, Ohio on September 29, 1931 to James and Frances (Furguson) Streets. On October 9, 1948, she married Lawrence Moore. Evelyn and Lawrence spent many years in Salt Lake City, Utah where she operated a daycare in her home. She was a member of the former East Christian Church, where she served as an elder and a member of Faith United Methodist Church. Evelyn spent countless hours visiting shut-ins, volunteering at local food pantries, and volunteering at East Christian and Faith United Methodist Churches. Evelyn was a true 'œsocial butterfly', never meeting a stranger and was a friend to all. Her true passion was spending time with her family, dog Scooter, and cat, Pretty Girl. Evelyn is survived by her children, Brenda (John) Henning, Carol (Jim) Perrine, Larry (Angel) Moore, and Kathy Pease; grandchildren, Steve (Nicki) Bradfield, Jennifer (Doug) Brenner, Nikki (Derk) Jackson, Jeffrey Perrine, Jim Perrine, Steve Perrine, Tiffany (Nathan) Downs, Cassandra (Chris) Callahan, Nicolai Baynum, Aaron (Missy) Pease, Aaric Pease, Lisa Henning, and John L. Henning; great-grandchildren, Andy, Chris, Bill, Lexi, Lauren, Kenzie, Derk, Angel, Keli, Samantha, Ashley, Lane, Chloe, Ethan, Parker, and Attikus; great-great-grandchildren, Shayna and Calie; sisters, Eva Martens, and Louise (Marvin) Cline; brother, Leroy (Gloria) Streets; sister-in-laws, Dolores Jabs and Donna Buckholtz. Evelyn is also survived by many loving family members and friends from East Christian and Faith United Methodist Churches. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence; sisters, Geraldine and Faye; brothers, Pete and Dwight; brother-in-laws, Leonard Jabs and Leonard Buckholtz. Friends may call at Faith United Methodist Church, 3415 Starr Ave at Coy Road, Oregon, on Friday, May 10, 2013 from 10:00 am until time of memorial service at 11:00 am.
