Evelyn I. Spain, 62, of Oregon, OH passed away June 14, 2004 in Arbors at Oregon. She was born in Toledo, OH on August 16, 1941 to Lutrell and Irene (Justus) Spain. Evelyn was employed by Kroger Supermarket in the Deli Department. She was an avid slot machine player and enjoyed playing at the MGM in Detroit. Surviving are her husband, Kenneth W. Erwin; son, Carl (Lucinda) Jones; step-children, Sue (Tim) Benge, Bev (Dennis) Smith, Ken J. (Marilyn) Erwin, Phyllis (Bob) Mason, Tina (Terry) Ryan and Ronnie Erwin; brothers, Marvin, Danny, Lester and Madison; sisters, Phyllis, Jeannette, Darlene and Vera; 14 step-grandchildren; 23 step-great grandchildren. Eveleyn was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Canda-Lynn Jones and sister, Meryl. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Wednesday from 5-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with interment following in Restlawn Memorial Park.
