F. Eileen Wilson, 81, formerly of Schmidlin Rd., Oregon, OH passed away on Friday,
December 20, 2002 in Otterbein Portage Valley. She was born in Plymouth, England on
January 13, 1918 to Thomas and Florence (Baulch) Quinn. Eileen emigrated to America
with her parents in 1922 and was naturalized in 1927. Mrs. Wilson became secretary of
the McCaw firm in 1960, when she and her late husband, Gale A. Bus Wilson, became
majority stockholders of the company that was established in Toledo in 1913. The
downtown Toledo firm still provides watch repair materials and jewelry findings to
clients in the United States, Europe, and the Pacific Rim.
She retired from the company in 1974, but continued her active membership with
the VFW Post 2510 in east Toledo where she was past secretary of the Ladies Auxiliary.
She also was a former employee of the Toledo office of the Internal Revenue Service and
the Lucas County Auditors Office.
Surviving are her son, Gerry (Terry) Wilson of Oregon, OH; daughter, Robin
(Larry) Kamann of Walbridge, OH; brother, Clifford (Beatrice) Quinn of Toledo, OH;
daughter-in-law, Sandy Wilson; 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was
preceded in death by her husband, Gale Bus Wilson; son, Richard Wilson and parents.
Friends may call at the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home Coy Road Chapel
440 S. Coy Rd. Oregon, OH on Sunday from 2-9 pm. Funeral services will begin in the
funeral home on Monday at 12:30 pm and proceed to St. Jerome Church for Mass of
Christian Burial at 1 pm. Interment will take place in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
