Faith M. Zaeff, 86, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on April 19, 2023, after a lifetime of spreading her own brand of wit and humor while never meeting a stranger. A lifelong resident of the Birmingham community, she was born on November 17, 1936 to Steven and Ethel (Szekeres) Kady. Affectionately known as "Foodtown Faith", she cashiered for 33 years at the Oregon store, retiring in 1999. She also served in several volunteer roles at Birmingham School and Calvin United Church of Christ.

Faith was preceded in death less than 4 months ago by her husband of 67 years, Gene; as well as her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Becky Zaeff; son, Gene (Kathy) Zaeff; sister, Jean Kekes; grandchildren, John (Noreen) Pezzino, Nick (Morgan) Zaeff; Alek Zaeff, Roxanne (Shawn) Beal; and 4 great-grandchildren, Sofia and Roman Pezzino and Juliana and Charlotte Zaeff.

A memorial service will be held at a future date with burial at Restlawn Memorial Park. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Faith's memory are asked to consider Calvin United Church of Christ or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
