Fay L. Kruse, 85, formerly of Genoa, Ohio passed away on June 7, 2003 at Swan Creek Retirement Village. She was born December 23, 1918 to Clyde E. Sr. and Daisy M. (Betz) Saunders in Gallia County, Ohio. Fay worked as an office manager with Saunders Mills and retired from the proof department at Fifth/Third Bank and the former First National Bank of Toledo in 1983. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Genoa, OH, Gertrude Chapter O.E.S. and the American Legion Women's Auxiliary. Fay is survived by her son, Frederick C. (Robin) Kruse of Sylvania, OH; brothers, Kenneth B. Saunders of Fremont, IN, Donald (Dolores) Saunders of Oregon, OH and Daniel M. (Patricia) Saunders of Temperance, MI; grandchildren, Kristen, Kevin and Kara Kruse; sister-in-law, Mildred Saunders. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, parents, brothers, Clyde E. Saunders Jr. and Charles C. Saunders; sister-in-laws, Finis and Bona Saunders and infant sister, Katherine Saunders. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9, 2003 from 3-5 & 6-9 p.m. at the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon where funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in Clay Township Cemetery.
