Faye E. Welling, 86, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014. Faye was born in Jerusalem Township, Ohio on November 30, 1927, to Carl and Maude (Kester) Stoddard. On October 13, 1951, she married Alfred Welling. Faye worked as a secretary for Martin Luther Lutheran Church where she was a member for over 50 years and enjoyed singing in the choir. She enjoyed having dinner with her friends from church and aqua aerobics at the East YMCA. Faye is survived by her children, Elaine (Doug) Sneider, Paul (Carole) Welling, and Ray (Roslyn) Welling; grandchildren, Joshua Sneider, Juli (Garrison) Moseley, Janelle (Liam) Bray, Louise (Tim) Causbrook, and Amy Welling. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 10 siblings. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 from 2:00 pm '" 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Private interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Martin Luther Lutheran Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
