Fern L. Kreamer, 96, passed away on January 8, 2018 at Genacross Lutheran Services, Toledo. She was born to Samuel and Ethel (Baxter) Carder on August 2, 1921. Fern married Lawrence Kreamer on May 31, 1941 and they shared 58 years together until his passing in 1999. Fern was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Oregon. She was a homemaker who was most comfortable in the company of her family and close family friends. She will be remembered for her baked beans at every family potluck, her chocolate chip cookies baked weekly and her lemon pie. Survivors include her sister, Evie Hall; sisters-in law, Mary Kreamer and Marilyn Carder; children, Linda (John) Ansara, Susan (Royce) Vick, Charles Kreamer, Donna (Tony) Anaya, Joyce (Paul) Eikost, David (Jennifer) Kreamer; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Fern was preceded in death by her husband; parents; several brothers and sisters; and 2 great grandsons. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Private family interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.
