Fidel G. Martinez Jr., 68 of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green. Fidel, known as Marty to many, was born on March 20, 1948 to Fidel Sr. and Juanita (Nava) Martinez. He retired from the United States Navy as a SCPO E3 in 1993. Marty was very loyal to his family, we love you. He enjoyed golfing and loved his dogs very much. Surviving are his loving wife of 43 years, Francis; sons, Angelo (Erin); Christopher; granddaughters, Alecia, Gianna; siblings, Dora, John (Lola), Louie (Janie). Also surviving are his canine buddies, "Little One" and Max. He was preceded in death by his parents Per Marty's request visitation will be confined to his immediate family. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
