Florence A. Budy, 88, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2004 in her home. She was born on October 3, 1915 to Henry A. and Minnie (Lauman) Koester. She was employed by both McCrory's and Buddies Delivery before she worked with her husband John at Westwood Appliance where she retired after 25 years. She was a lifelong member of First St. John's Lutheran Church. Surviving are her stepchildren, Jerry and Gloria Budy, Ruth and Roland Olejownik and Carol Budy; brothers, Floyd (Marie) Koester, Glenn (Margaret) Koester, Donald (Virginia) Koester; sisters, Edna (Richard) Rideout, Eleanor Cochenour; sister-in-law Delores Koester and many grand and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Budy; brother, Elmer Koester; sister, Ruth Zitzelberger and stepson, Richard Budy. Friends may call in the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road where visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 to 9 pm. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 am with the Rev. Robert Blohm conducting. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery.
