Florence C. Cook, 90, of Galion, OH and formerly of Madeleine St., Toledo, OH passed away November 14, 2004 in Bennington Glenn Nursing Center, Marengo, OH. She was born on October 8, 1914 in Toledo, OH to Peter and Catherine (Bruce) Cowie. Florence was a graduate of Waite High School, a member of Euclid United Methodist Church and the Yondota OES. She was employed by the Lion Store, for 13 years, as a sales clerk/buyer, retiring in 1979. Forence was the widow of Charles Cook Surviving are her daughter, Phyllis (Donald) Beck, Galion, OH; son, Charles (Kathleen) Cook, South Carolina; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Florence was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 sisters and 3 brothers. Friends and family may visit at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Thursday from 4-9 p.m. where funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Royalton Cemetery, Lyons, OH.
