Florence "Flo" (LaPorte) Ehrsam, 88, of Maumee, Ohio, passed away on May 31, 2022 at St. Clare Commons. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 6, 1933 to Herman and Mildred (DiGenova) LaPorte. Flo graduate from Central Catholic High School in 1951. She would later marry Hugh Ehrsam on July 13, 1957. Flo was a devout member at Saint Joseph Catholic Church- Maumee. Flo was a simple woman, truly enjoying the company of others, especially her grandchildren. She loved entertaining for her family and friends. Flo was the one taking care of the cooking and cleaning, making sure everybody had a good time. She also enjoyed cheering on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish! Flo will be missed dearly by so many. Flo is survived by her children, Denise Bilek, Chris (Bob) Porter, Kelly (Marlene) Ehrsam; grandchildren, Everett, Angelica and Rylee Ehrsam, Brianne (Matt) Metzung, Kaylyn Porter; great-grandchildren, Noah ,Landon and Alaina Metzung, Adi Macias and a little girl on the way; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 55 years, Hugh Ehrsam; son-in-law, John Bilek; and sister, MaryAnn Materny. There will be a memorial mass at Saint Joseph Catholic Church-Maumee, 104 W. Broadway St. Maumee, Ohio, 43537 on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Jim Halleron presiding.
