Flossie "Bea" Murphy, 68 of Curtice , Ohio passed away Sunday, June 14, 2009 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg after a long battle with cancer. Bea was born in Toledo on July 15, 1940 to Venard and Flossie (Point) McFarland. Bea was the jewelry department manager for Value City Department Store in Northwood for 23 years retiring in 2001. She attended the former Open Bible Church and Grace Evangelical Church. She also attended Calvary Assembly of God Church and most recently the Hope Community Churchof the Nazarene . Bea will always be remembered for her cooking and especially for her baking which she loved to do. Surviving are her loving husband, Gerald A.; children, Charles Wilson, Kay (William) Zieroff, Beth (Daniel) Koharski, Vicky (Edward) Haase; grandchildren, Stephanie (William)Price, Becky (Jacob)Damron, Larry Voigt Jr., Nicole (Shawn) Casselberry, Thomas Partin, Michael Partin, Veronica Bigelow, Chuckie and Samantha Wilson great grandchildren, Kayla, Brandon, Marcus, Hunter, Bryson, Hayden; sisters, Alice Wells, Bonnie Russell, Lovetta Lopes. Bea was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Darlene McFarland and Dearless Wells. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-9 p.m in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road . Funeral Services will be held on Thursday in the Hope Community Church of the Nazarene, 5650 Starr Ext., Oregon at 11:00 a.m and where the family will greet friends one hour prior to the service.
