Forrest P. Dartt, 85, of Northwood, Ohio passed away on Friday, September 28, 2007, at Heartland of Oregon. Forrest was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 19, 1922, to Durrell and Lenore (Knab) Dartt. He was a veteran of the US Army, receiving two bronze stars for his service during World War II. Mr. Dartt was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Grove City, Ohio and St. Mark Lutheran Church, Toledo. Before his retirement he was employed with C & O Railroad as a car inspector.  He is survived by his daughters, Colleen Cunningham and Carolyn Dartt; son, Gary Phillip Dartt; sister, Bonnie (Ansel) Henderson. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-9 p.m. at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd where funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, Georgeville, OH. Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Forrest's memory are asked to consider St. Mark Lutheran Church.
