Frances J. Abair, 79 formerly of Oregon, Ohio passed away Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Ebeid Hospice Flower Hospital. Frances was born on April 22, 1932, in Carbon Hill, Alabama to Belton B. and Villa M. (Fowler) Gray. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph B. Abair; parents; 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Frances was a member of Echo Meadows Church of Christ for over 50 years. She had retired from Monroe County Health Department in 1994 where she was employed as a dietician. Surviving are her children, Robert Abair, Charles Abair, Sharon (Bob) Hasapes, Thomas (Rebecca) Abair, Mary (Tom) Holtz, Angela Abair, grandchildren, Thomas, Roger, Kayla and Sarah Holtz, Racheal (Brian) Hasapes-Mingione, Robert A., Rebekah and Emily Hasapes; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Olga Jacques A Memorial Service will be held at Echo Meadows Church of Christ, 2905 Starr Avenue on, Friday July 15, 2011 at 11 a.m. Memorials may be directed to Echo Meadows Church of Christ.
