Frances P. Amundsen, 71, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully July 28, 2009 in her home with her children by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 17, 1938 to Aldo and Josephine (Ricci) Ciotoli who preceded her in death. Frances was currently employed as a customer service representative-inside sales at the Owens Corning Fiberglass Company for the past 45 years. She was a member of the former Holy Rosary Church and most recently at St. Stephen's Catholic Church. Frances was an avid gardener, and also enjoyed shopping. Surviving are her children, Julie (Walter Jr.) Adams, Dr. Jon (Donna) Amundsen, Janet (Tim) Caspar and Jacqueline (Doug) Klempner; grandchildren, Brittany, Alexis, Andrew, Aaron, Katelyn, Dylan, Elizabeth, Robert and Vincent; sisters, Maria (Gary) Brown and Angela (Larry) Lemle; nephew, Gary Jr. and niece, Laurie. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday and Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. with recitation of the rosary on Friday at 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 9:45 a.m. and proceed to St. Stephen's Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
