Frances J."Fran" Ehrsam, 79, of Oregon, Ohio passed away September 3, 2009 at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 16, 1930 to Fred and Minnie (Blausey) Zunk. Fran was a member of First St. John Lutheran Church where she taught catechism, was a past member of the church Altar Guild and a Girl Scout leader. She was a founder of the Fenton Dollers Club and a member of the Fenton Glass Society. Frances also served on various committees for the City of Oregon.
Surviving are her husband of 58 years, William; daughter, LuAnn (John) Spoerl, son, Charles; grandchildren, Joshua Ehrsam, Jennifer (Kevin) Koester, Amanda and Megan Spoerl; great grandchildren, Ryan Camp and Liam Koester; brother, Robert (Terry) Zunk. Fran was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ray.
Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Monday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home Tuesday at 10 a.m. with interment following in Oakwood Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy can be made to First St. John Lutheran Church's Altar Guild.
