Frances L. Gears, 79, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 5, 1942 to Frank and Virginia (Sutton) Cousino. Frances graduated from Clay High School in 1960 and would marry the love of her life, John A. Gears Jr. who preceded her in death. She was a member of Epiphany of the Lord Parish-Sacred Heart Church. Frances enjoyed cooking and baking but what she cherished most was being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children, John (Beth) Gears, Linda Myrice, Janet (Raul) Quiroga Jr., David Gears; grandchildren, Haley (Gabe) Pinciotti, Erica (Timothy) Langlois, Tyler Gears, Kirk (Laura) Gears, Danny (Kathryn) Myrice, Jordan Myrice, Cody (Tori Devitt) Myrice, Raul Quiroga III; great-grandchildren, Luca, Gia, Quinton, Daniel, Zayne, Maveric and one on the way; siblings, Rose Biddle, James Cousino and Judy (Larry) Shinavar. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; son, Jerry and sister, Carol. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of funeral services at 7:00 p.m. Private interment will take place at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
