Frances A. Middaugh, 80, of Oregon, OH, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2008, in her home. Frances was born on September 15, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan to Francis and Marguerite (Santiago) Trudell. Mrs. Middaugh grew up on Grosse Isle Island where she graduated from the island's private school. She was employed for K-Mart at the Navarre Avenue store for over 15 years before her retirement. She enjoyed playing bingo and gambling in the area's casinos. Frances also loved to walk and attending her granddaughter's events and activities. Surviving is her granddaughter, Shanda Backus. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughters, Kristine Middaugh and Jacqueline Backus; son-in-law, Walter A. Backus. As per Frances request there will be no visitation and services will be private. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions in Frances's memory may be made to the American Heart Association. Services: Tuesday, 1:00 p.m.
