Frances M. Strauss, 92, passed away on November 7, 2013 at Promedica Bay Park Hospital. She was born on October 21, 1921 in Waterville, Ohio to Austin and Jenny (Watts) Belair. Frances worked in cosmetic sales at Tiedtke'™s for 15 years before retiring in 1972. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Frances is survived by her son, Dale Strauss; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Jeannette Hagen, Kenneth Belair and Henry Belair. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; daughter-in-law, Janice; granddaughter, Christina; siblings, Lillian Knakiewicz, Elery Belair and Mary Barron. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel on Sunday, November 10, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday at Epiphany of the Lord Parish - Sacred Heart Church, 509 Oswald Street, Toledo at 11:00 a.m. and where family will greet visitors beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
