Francis R Dick. Nagy, 74, of Toledo, OH passed away on Monday, December 4, 2006 in Harborside of Point Place. Francis was born on May 3, 1932 in Toledo to Mike and Mary (Juhasz) Nagy. He was a 1950 graduate of Macomber High School and a US Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Nagy was an master journeyman electrician working from Local #8 IBEW for over 38 years before his retirement in 1994. Dick loved to garden and was an avid bow hunter and member of Mudjaw Bowman Club. He and his brother Stephen were the owners and operators of Nagy Brothers Archery Shop on Barker Street. He and his sons would later operate another shop on Summit Street in Point Place. He was also a member of VFW Post #3265.
Surviving are his sons, Richard (Linda) and Brian (Katrina) Nagy; daughters, Valerie (James) Armstrong and Theresa L. Vierling; brother, Stephen (Irene) Nagy; sisters, Verna (Ray) Michalak and Mary Ondrus; grandchildren, Chris, Jamie, Ben-David and Jordan Armstrong. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Nancy; brothers, Joe, Elmer and Nicholas Nagy; sisters, Gazella Guzzie and Helen Rutki.
There will be no visitation and services will be private. Arrangements are being handled by the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road at Starr Avenue. Memorial contributions in Francis's memory may be made to either Heartland Hospice or the Alzheimer Association.
