Francis A. 'œChub' Mauder, 71, of Northwood, Ohio passed away on Saturday, January 29 2011 in Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida. Francis was born in Northwood on December 6, 1939 to Norman and Caroline (Buda) Mauder. He was a United States Marine Corp veteran. Mr. Mauder was employed for 30 years at Hydromatic before his retirement in 1990. He was a member of St. Jerome Church and Knights of Columbus. Chub loved golfing and worked at Chippawa for 7 years. He also bowled in the Monday night league at Oregon Lanes for many years and was an avid euchre and poker player. Surviving are his loving wife, Therese; son, Troy (Brenda) Mauder; daughter, Tina (Todd) Kamenca; brothers, Bill, Jim and Larry; sisters, Sue Steward, Jean LeBarr and 'œDeed' Gargac; grandchildren, Josh, Jake, Josh, Jen, Kaitlyn, Mitchell, Dylan and Nicola; great grandchildren, Gavin and Mariano. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Thomas; brothers, Ray and Norman; sisters, Josie, Sis, Normie and Ann. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road in Millbury where visitation will be from 2 to 8 pm on Friday. Scripture services will be at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will begin with prayers in the funeral home at 9:45 am Saturday, February 5, 2011 and proceed to St. Jerome Church in Walbridge for the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
