Francisco H. Garcia, 81, formerly of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022 surrounded by his family. Francisco was born December 17, 1940 in Asherton, Texas to Blas and Maria (Herrera) Garcia. He was employed with Hunts/ Conagra Foods for 38 years retiring in 2005. Francisco was a longtime member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Francisco is survived by his children Eugene (Patty) Garcia, Cynthia Sanchez, Frank (Cheryl) Garcia and Michael (Heidi) Garcia; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Yolanda (Paul) Gomez and Diane (Randy) Paulson. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ophelia; and brothers, Blas & David. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road Friday, December 2, 2022 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church , 434 Western Ave. Toledo, where the family will greet friends at 9:30 am.
