Francisco Larry Perales, 48, Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 19, 1973 to Francisco and Virginia (Gutierrez) Perales Jr. After graduating from Waite High School, he worked for many years, but most notably at Banner Mattress Warehouse until its closing and most recently at Meijer. Francisco was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church before its closing. He was a sports lover, cheering on the New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Steelers. In his younger years he enjoyed playing the drums and various sports. Francisco also loved a good meal. He was always up for going out to dinner, especially if it was for burritos, the bigger the better! His true passion was spending time with his family and daughters. Francisco was known for his kind heart and work ethics. He was always willing to help others and never missed a day of work. His family will remember him for the loving man he was and cherish the memories they made. He is survived by his mother, Virginia; daughters, Selina (Darian) Mayfield and Madison Perales; siblings, Alesia (Arturo) Covarrubias, Gina Perales, Francine (Will) Norris, Adrian Carlos Perales; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Francisco Perales Jr., and his grandparents. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Sunday, July 24, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
