Frank Caputo, 72, of Walbridge, Ohio. passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 27, 1953 to Benjamin and Barbara (Frushour) Caputo. Frank was a jack of all trades, being self taught in anything that he did. He had a passion for working on cars, going fishing, or watching the Eagles soar through the air. If you were looking for Frank, you would most likely find him outside. He was a big jokester, never one to shy away from a good laugh. Frank was an avid knife collector and had a heart of gold. Frank and the love of his life, Robin (Schiffler) have been together for over 43 years with Frank making it official in 2005. He was the best dad, grandpa, husband and brother that anyone could ask for.

He is survived by his wife, Robin; children, Hope (Terry) Cain, Benjamin (Angel) Caputo, Candice Schiffler, Christopher (Kristina) Schiffler, Christine (Frank) Ankney; grandchildren, Michael, Brenda, Ashley, Ashley R., Benjamin Jr., Abigail, Summer, Emma, Logan, Sophia, Dallas; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara, Tina, Diane, Nadine, Cherie, Margie; and brother, Guy. He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Barbara and Robert Frushour; father and step mother, Benjamin and Carol Caputo; daughter, Dennielle Caputo; great-grand-daughter, Faith Cain; and brothers, Robert, Ralph, Mark and many other loving family members.

Friends and family may visit Eggleston Meinert & Pavley, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., Oregon, Ohio, 43616 on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy in Frank's name may be directed to American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Association.
