Frank Downey, 53, of Toledo, OH, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 11, 2006, in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. Frank was born on September 17, 1953, in Columbus, Ohio and lived in Toledo for the majority of his life. He worked in the pest control business for 20 years. He played on a softball league for many years and also a dart ball and a traveling bowling league. Frank was an avid fisherman, loved to be outdoors and enjoyed working with wood. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Debbie (Bartow); children, Franklin (Cindy), Shawna Kidwell (Joey), Andrea Downey (Shane) and Michael; parents, Thornton Sr. and Joyce (Ray) Downey; brother, David (Rose); sisters, Karen (Lloyd) Wright, Sharon ( Steve) Jones and Jackie (Tom) Schumaker. He was "Paw Paw" to Nick, Breanna, Mickael, twins- Karleigh and Kameron, Madyson and Gabrielle. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews; other loving relatives, many kind and loving friends, his special friend, Earnie and his Guardian Angel, Sue. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Friday, October 13, 2006 from 2 until 9 pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
