Frank P. Kerekes, 93, formerly of Oregon, OH passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2005 in the Lutheran Home at Toledo. He was born in Toledo, OH on March 8, 1912 to Frank and Barbara (Kovacs) Kerekes. Frank was a veteran of the Army Air Corp, serving during World War II. He had been employed with the Teamsters as a laborer, and was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church. Preceding him in death were his wife of 60 years, Helen; brothers, Joseph, Steven and George; sister, Anna Maynhart. Frank is survived by his sister, Margaret Hayden; brother, Andrew Kerekes; goddaughter, Patricia Knudson and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family may visit at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Thursday, November 10, 2005 from 4-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park.
