Frank L. Montague
Frank L. Montague, 87, of Oregon, Ohio passed away Monday, April 13, 2009 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 6, 1921 to Frank and Louise (Brown) Montague. Frank was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a glassworker with Libbey Owens Ford Plant #4 for 32 years, retiring in 1978. Frank also was a member of Union Local #9 and the Cullett Club.
Surviving are his, sons, Raymond (Pam) and Frank (Cheryl) Montague Jr.; daughter, Linda (Mark) Brinkman; brothers, Harold, Gerald (May) and Donald (Barb) Montague; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Frank was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Esther.
Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday, April 16, 2009 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with interment following in Restlawn Memorial Park. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider First St. Mark Lutheran Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff of Orchard Villa Nursing Home and Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
