Frank M. Richards, 77, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2013 in his home surrounded by his family. Frank was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 15th 1935 to Ernest and Rachel (Moyer) Richards. Frank was a graduate of Waite High School. On June 16, 1956 he married the love of his life Shirley. He worked for American Telephone & Telegraph Company as a communication craftsman for 37 years before retiring in 1990. Frank was a sports fanatic, especially coaching, teaching, mentoring his kids, grandkids, and others. He was everybody'™s grandpa and the community Glove Doctor. Frank was a family man and enjoyed having backyard barbeques where he could spend time with his children and his grandkids. Surviving are his loving wife of 56 years, Shirley; children, Wendy (Robert) Majchszak, Ernest Richards, Kevin (Janet) Richards, Penny (Thomas) McCamey, Nancy (Edward) Ladd, Julia Richards; sister, Sandra Richards; brother, John Richards; 14 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter Laura, and grandson Jacob. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 2:00-9:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 11:00 am.
