Franklin E. Snyder, 83, of Northwood, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Kingston Residence of Perrysburg. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 8, 1927 to Ralph and Mary (Lamb) Snyder. Frank served his country in the US Navy during WW II and the Korean War. On October 10, 1953, he married Barbara Edwards. Frank was employed with IBEW #8 as an electrician for over 50 years, retiring in 1985. He was an active member of Heritage Christian Church and volunteered with the MS Society. His true passion was spending time with his children and grandchildren. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Barbara, daughters Marcia (Paul) Pasternak and their children, Andrew, Amanda (Patrick), Anna, Daniel, Janelle, Christina, Michael, and Olivia; daughter, Tamara (John) Malone and their children, Ashley and Austin; sister, Mary Ann (Bernard) Meyers; niece, Sara (Carlos) Oviedo; nephew, Bradley Meyers; great nephew, Edan Oviedo. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be take place Thursday, January 20th from 2:00-8:00 pm at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday in the funeral home. Private interment will take place at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
