Obituary

Fred L. Young Jr. 62, of Curtice, passed away Friday, July 16, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Lynch, Kentucky on July 17, 1947 to Fred and Julia (Peace) Young Sr. Fred served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. On April 16, 1967, he married Patricia Montgomery and she preceded him in death April 10, 2002. Fred worked as a Job Setter with Chrysler Machining for 30 years, retiring in 1996. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time outdoors, and was a car enthusiast. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Fred is survived by his children, Mark (Julie) Young and Sheila (Mike) Snyder; grandchildren, Jacob and Marissa Young, and Destiny and Mikey Snyder; brother, Carl (Linda) Young and sister, Linda Young. Also survived by many loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Patricia, sister Lois Stone, and sister-in-law, Sharon Young. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road on Sunday, July 18th from 2:00-8:00 pm Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Monday in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Allen Township Cemetery, Williston. Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor'™s choice.
