Freda E. Hubbell, 82, of east Toledo passed away Thursday, September 2, 2004, at Bay Park Community Hospital. Freda was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 17, 1921, to Ernest and Ottilie (Steinke) Schwerkoske. She married Joseph W. Hubbell who preceded her in death in 1995. Freda had worked for Airway Electric and Libbey Owens Ford. She was a member of Bethleham Lutheran Church. Surviving are her sisters, Elsie Bahls, Olga Klepacz; brother, Clarence Scherkoske; also surviving are many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents she is also preceded in death by her brothers, Frederick Schwerkoske and William Schwerkoske; sister, Helen Brick. There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held Saturday, at 3:00 p.m. in Lake Township Cemetery, Walbridge Road, Millbury, Ohio.
