Frederick A. Chevalier 85, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Kingston Residence of Perrysburg. Fritz was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 7, 1932 to Clarence and Lucille (Baker) Chevalier. On January 9, 1950, he married the love of his life Martha Neville and enjoyed 65 loving years of marriage. Fritz held various jobs and owned an antenna business. Fritz and Martha were avid trap shooters and together won numerous awards and trophies. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, turtle trapping, and in later years, attending auctions. Fritz enjoyed camping with his family and developed many lifelong friendships through his camping group. His true passion was spending time with his family; especially his grandchildren who affectionately called him "Grandpa Chevy". Fritz is survived by his children, Fritz (Sandy) Chevalier, Bev (Jerry) Warner, Debbie (Joe) Correa; grandchildren, Tracy Malik, Craig (Andrea) Brochu, Courtney (KC) Fleitz, and April Siegler; great-grandchildren, Baylee Malik, Easton, Maddon, Farryn and Brezlin Fleitz, Sparrow Brochu, Paige Talani, Mackenzie and Jacob Valenzuela and Allayna Mckee. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Martha; brother Clarence Chevalier; sisters, Mary Brett and Ethel Toda; and daughter-in-law, Debbie (Lewis) Chevalier. In accordance with Fritz's wishes, funeral services will be private. His family wishes to thank the staff of Kingston Residence of Perrysburg for the care and love shown to Fritz during the past year.
