Frederick E. Winkelman Jr. 90 of Toledo, Ohio, passed away at Orchard Villa on December 14, 2014. He was born in Hoytville, Ohio to Frederick and Susan (Wheeler) Winkelman Sr. on February 9, 1924. He is a US Army veteran serving during WWII where he received a Bronze Star. Frederick later married his wife Frances, who preceded him in death. He was a handyman that could fix almost anything. Frederick also loved fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family. He was a great man and will truly be missed by all who knew him. Frederick is survived by his children, Peggy Abshire, Frederick Winkelman III; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Frances; daughters, Dianna Winkelman, Janet Milhoan and son James Winkelman. Private Services will be held. Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, is assisting the family with arrangements.
