Gail Richard Fancher Sr., 80, of Walbridge, Ohio passed away peacefully with his family at his bedside on Monday, June 19, 2023, at Perrysburg Health Care and Rehab. Gail was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 14, 1943, to Cloyd and Sadie (Risner) Fancher. He was a Macomber High School graduate. Gail retired from the Ford Motor Corporation where he worked in the maintenance department. Gail enjoyed classic cars. He restored a 1980 El Camino. You could find Gail in his garage working on his cars or helping others. He was quite the skilled mechanic. He also had 1985 Firebird Trans Am. You could find Gail at many cruise ins with his fellow car enthusiasts listening to "Cruzin Zeke". He also enjoyed fishing and snowmobiling in his spare time.

Surviving is his loving wife of 60 years, Teresa; children, Carol McBride, Gail R. (Diane) Fancher Jr., James A. Fancher; grandchildren, Ethan (Lindsey) McBride, Morgan McBride, Drew (Josh Blausey) Fancher; great grandchildren, Logan, Trenton, Makayla and Colt; sister, Claudette (Roger) Martin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Infant son; sisters, Dixie Conine and Marlene Cash.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 25, from 1:00 pm until 7 :00 pm at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury where his funeral service will be held on Monday, June 26 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
