Gary W. Miller, 71, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 9, 2019, surrounded by loved ones. Gary was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 17, 1947 to Lawrence and Helen (Wollenbecker) Miller. He was a 1966 graduate of Waite High School. Gary worked for Calphalon Corp and retired in 2008 after 42 years. Gary was a huge fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Detroit Lions. His true love was spending time with his children and grandchildren. Gary is survived by his wife Linda; sons, Patrick (Teryl) Miller, Gary (Wendy) Miller, Aaron (Cathy Novan) Miller; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Frederick DeCant II. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Road on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Private burial will take place at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Historic Church of St. Patrick.
