Gary L. Schroeder, 56, of Oregon, OH, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2004, in St. Charles/Mercy Hospital. He was born in Toledo on November 27, 1947, to Clair and Jane McCabe. He was employed by C & W Tank as a supervisor. Gary was a US Air Force veteran serving in the Vietnam War. Surviving are his; wife, Joyce; son, Keith; daughters, Angel, Alisha and Rachel Schroeder; brothers, Gerald (Carisma) Schroeder; Larry (Sandy) McCabe and Dick McCabe; grandchildren, Zachary, Kaleigh and Brandon; friend, Joann Ahreans and several nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, and son, Patrick. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. at Starr Ave. on Tuesday, August 24, 2004 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Contributions in Gary's memory can be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
