Gene R. Hoffman Sr. Passed away Thursday, April 23, 2020. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 4, 1959 to Ralph and Priscilla (Staton) Hoffman Sr. After graduating high school he enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country. Shortly after getting discharged from the Army he would join the United States Navy. After his service he worked at Night Industries for 30 years. He was an avid sports fan, cheering for the Detroit Red Wings, Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns. He loved to go fishing and enjoyed bowling. What Gene cherished most were his family and grandchildren. He is survived by his son, Gene (Paula) Hoffman Jr.; grandchildren, Tristan and Fayth; brothers, Gerald Hoffman, Ralph Hoffman Jr.; sisters, Beverly Lewis and Frances Jean Pearson. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Amanda Hoffman; granddaughter Skyleigh; sisters, Delores Brown, Dorothy Leinhart; and brothers, James and George Hoffman. In accordance with Gene's wishes there will be no services.
