Genevieve E. Habermas, 89, of Toledo, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2004, in St. Vincent Medical Center. Genevieve was born on October 18, 1914, in Hillsdale, Michigan, to Billie and Alice (Monroe) Haynes. She was the widow of Carl Habermas, who passed away in 1967. She was employed as an office manager for 14 years in the surgery department at the Medical College of Ohio, retiring in 1983. There were no immediate survivors. Services will be private and there will be no visitation. Arrangements are being cared for by the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon.
