Obituary

With deep love and great sadness, the Ramirez family announces the passing of Genoveva Ramirez. She peacefully departed on September 24, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Genoveva was born on April 14, 1924, in La Piedad, Michoacán, Mexico, where she laid down the roots of a life filled with love and giving.

She was the pillar and loving matriarch of her large family. Genoveva was married to Miguel Ramirez for 57 years and together they built a joyful and vibrant home. They raised six children: Maria Teresa Robert (Sergio), Miguel, Guadalupe, José Manuel (Angela), José Luis (Kimberly) and Antonio (Kimberly).

Genoveva was a beloved grandmother to 25 grandchildren, great-grandmother to 35 great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandmother to 2. Her family was her pride and joy.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Miguel, her parents Rodolfo and Genoveva Solorio, her children Maria Teresa and José Manuel, brothers Rodolfo and Alfonso and granddaughter Gretel Alejandra.

Genoveva's home was a refuge for family and friends, where the warmth of her love filled every corner. There, she indulged in her greatest passions: cooking delicious meals, singing and praying with devotion, tending to her flower and vegetable garden and whenever possible, visiting her beloved homeland of Mexico. Her home was never empty and no one ever left without a meal and her blessing.

Genoveva's legacy is one of unconditional love, of teachings passed down through generations, and of unforgettable memories full of smiles and family gatherings. Though she is no longer physically with us, her spirit remains alive in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
