Geoffrey Sigurdson, 76, of Jerome, Michigan passed away on October 3, 2015 at Mercy St. Anne's Hospital. He was born in Walhalla, North Dakota on August 31, 1939 to Guttormur and Helen (Crowston) Sigurdson. Geoffrey worked at LOF Pilkington for many years as an IT Professional, eventually retiring in 1999. He enjoyed traveling with family and friends. He also loved boating, especially around the lakes of Irish Hills in Michigan. Geoffrey is survived by his children, Geoffrey (Betty) Sigurdson Jr., Gregory (Lynn) Sigurdson, Gary (Gloria) Sigurdson, Donald Sigurdson and Denise (Nick) Marvet; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; siblings, James (Joan) Sigurdson, Thomas (Linda) Sigurdson, Mary Lou (Dave) Revenaugh and Ed (Tammy) Sigurdson; ex-wife Peggy Sigurdson; and sister in law, Dianne Sigurdson. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Verne Sigurdson; and long time companion, Donna Crane. Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel is assisting the family with arrangments. A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held Sunday, October 25, 2015 at the Christ Dunberger Post in Oregon from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Strategic Support Fund at the James Cancer Hospital.
