George A. Dopslaff, 81, of Walbridge, OH, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2003 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. George was born on July 14, 1922 in Rossford, OH to Gustav and Ruth (Clark) Dopslaff. He was a golf professional for over 30 years most recently with Tamaron Country Club retiring in 1980. His memberships included Big Brothers and Big Sisters along with P.G.A. Surviving are his son, Michael K. Dopslaff of Ft. Myers, FL; step-children, John Menefee, Jacqueline Zahn and Madeline Kiffer; grandchildren, Michael and Loren Dopslaff and 2 step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2003 from 4-7 pm at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio and the family requests those in attendance to wear comfortable golf attire. There will be no funeral services.
