George F. Flory, 70, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on July 11, 2003 in St. Charles Mercy Hospital. He was born September 2, 1932 in Lincoln Park, MI to George H. and Ella B. (Hapner) Flory. George was an US Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean War and a member of the Northwood VFW. He was employed at Chrysler Corporation in Perrysburg and General Dynamics in Lima, OH as a mechanic for several years. Surviving are his wife of 47 yrs., Joyce E. Flory; sons, George R. Flory, Lima, OH and Dale R. Flory, Toledo, OH; daughter, Diane E. (Robert) Grygier, San Diego, CA; sisters, Earlene Hayes, Los Angeles, CA and June Albrecht of California; 8 grandchildren Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2003 from 2-9 p.m. at the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon where funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 1:00 p.m. Contributions in George's memory can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
