George H. Vincent, 83, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014, at Perrysburg Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 25, 1930 to George T. and Ruth M. (Larrow) Vincent. George was employed by Textile Leather as their superintendent and most recently retired from Jeep as a supervisor in 1992 after 16 years of service. He was a veteran of the USAF serving in Britain until 1952. George enjoyed bowling and playing horseshoes, darts and softball in his spare time. He also competed twice at the Senior Olympics with Red Vickroy for bowling, winning the state title once.
Surviving are his wife, Winifred; sons, Richard L. ((Kathleen) and Steven G. (Vicki); brother, Richard Vincent; grandchildren, Leslie (Jim) Schuka, Daniel (Kristie) Vincent and Alaina Vincent; great-grandchildren, Willa Marie Vincent and Ethan Vincent Schuka. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather with a great sense of humor. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
Following George'™s wishes, there will be no visitation and services will be private.
