George Zervas, 72, of south Toledo passed away Sunday, September 21, 2008, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. George was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 18, 1935. He was an U. S. Army Veteran. He was retired from the Conrail Railroad where he was a conductor. Surviving are his children, Terrie Byers, Dan (Jackie) Zervas, Mike (Heather) Zervas; brothers, Paul and Tom; sister, Mary; 11 grandchildren. George was preceded in death by his parents; son, Derron; stepson, Bob; brothers, John and Andrew. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Tuesday from 2-9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
